OVERVIEW:

The John Whelan Library (JWL), established in 1985 and named after Cambridge's astronomer John Whelan (QJRAS, 23, 460), is the library of the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes (ING). It is particularly oriented to provide documentation services to the ING staff and visiting astronomers. For a quick start, please visit the Users Quick Guide. The JWL keeps has some links and memberships with others.

The JWL is split between the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (ORM) and the sea level:
