Mailing lists offered by the library

This service offers you the possibility of receiving astronomy telegrams, astronomy preprints or the table of contents of some astronomical journals in your email box. Only library users can subscribe to the mailing lists. Please email jma@ing.iac.es for activating your subscription. Currently these are the mailing lists:

- IAUCIRC: It distributes the very latest astronomical news circulars. One item almost everyday. Currently:

  • IAU Circulars
  • IAU Minor Planet Circulars
  • The Astronomer's Telegram
The IAU circulars have their own pages at the ING's Intranet.

- CONTENTS: Table of contents of journals. One message when a new issue comes out. Currently:

  • Applied Optics
  • Astronomical Journal
  • Astronomy and Astrophysics
  • Astronomy and Astrophysics Review
  • Astronomy and Astrophysics Supplement Series
  • Astrophysics and Space Science

Note: In order to speed up the search for your keywords of interest in the emailed table of contents, use the 'find' tool of your email program. For instance, if you are using pine, just type 'W' (WhereIs) and you will be prompted to make a keyword search in the body of the message.
