Autofib 2 DISABLEGUIDE Command

This is an Engineering Interface Engineering Commands and is to be issued at the engineering interface.

DISABLEGUIDE Command

Format: DISABLEGUIDE  n

n = Number of Guide Fibre to disable

Description:  Temporarily disable guide fibre n from use.  This command may be reversed using the ENABLEGUIDE command.  Once disabled it is not possible to move the fibre, view the fibre or perform any actions with the fibre.

Note that disabling a fibre MAY make target fields already configured illegal.  The park and circle configurations are automatically regenerated when a guidefibre is disabled.

Example: Engineering command > disableguide 32

For further information refer to the `AF2 Control System Software Manual'.
