Peter Sorensen works as a Telescope Operator at the ING Telescopes on La Palma. He was born in the northern part of Denmark, and obtained his degree in Astronomy at the University of Aarhus. He came to La Palma in 1994, where he worked at the Nordic Optical Telescope for two years. Apart from his duties at the ING, Peter is working on a PhD at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) on Planetary Nebulae research. He is 27 years, and lives in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
