Description: Star clusters NGC 869 and NGC 884, known together as the Double Cluster, are two closely separated open star clusters in the constellation of Perseus. Both clusters are around 13 million years old, making them relatively young when compared to other clusters of their type. Their very close ages and close proximity to each other implies that the stars in both clusters were formed from the same dust cloud. They are imaged here from Santa Cruz de La Palma, Spain.
