1. DONATIONS
------------
Nick Johnson (ING) donated a collection of SpaceFlight Journal beginning
in 1972 and ending in 1997, with a gap from 1984 to 1988.
Marco Azzaro (ING) donated a copy of his MSc Thesis about "Some
meteorological parameters affecting the image quality of the William
Herschel Telescope on La Palma". This book is now on the New Acquistion
shelf.

COMPLETENESS OF THE BOOK CATALOGUE
Fiona Riddick, one of the ING summer students, is working on a documentation
project which includes the revision of the book classification in both
libraries and entries in the catalogue, and writing an interface to search
this catalogue using the web. Fiona is leaving at the end of august.

* To order books, email this information to me: title, author, ISBN number,
approximate price, publisher, year of publication (or edition) and
number of copies (if more than one, please, justify). Also specify which
account you wish to be charged.
* To borrow books, fill out one of the loan cards which are on the library's
table. All the books can be borrowed except those at the INT library.
Put the loan card into one of the red plastic bags which are also on the
library's table and replace the book by the red bag. After reading, return
the book to the 'Returned Books' tray. Don't try to put it on the
shelves. You can borrow the book as long as you need it.
