Spectral Configurations
OASIS ofters fifteen different spectroscopic modes of varying spectral
coverage and resolution. Each mode is described in terms of its
resolution (LR, MR and HR for low, medium and high resolution
respectively) and its central wavelength (in nm). For example, MR735 is
a medium resolution mode centred at 735nm. The following table
summarises the resolution, spectral coverage and dispersion of each
configuration:

1.
A set of 15 filters determines the spectral range of each
configuration. Transmission
curves for each of the filters can be found here.

If you are interested
in
applying to use the LR610 spectroscopic configuration, please contact Chris Benn in advance of the
proposal deadline.
3. Variable dispersion: 3, 11,
35 Å/pixel at 4200, 6000, 8000 Å respectively.
