Since the 15 Dec 2021 the IAC stopped publishing the "Daily evaluation of the risk at the ORM by the volcanic plume from the Cumbre Vieja eruption - Reports" at their Volcano 2021 plume risk web page. Since that date, the INT Support Astronomers have been observing in the INT every night, and the INT resumed its usual operation still in service mode.

The volcanic eruption on La Palma, which began on the 19th September 2021, was officially declared over on the 25th of December. Indeed the volcano had already stopped its more evident activity by 13th of December, and it has been quiet since then. Therefore, from the middle of January 2022, normal visitor-mode observations were be possible (subject to ING's Covid-19 procedures for visiting astronomers) for all scheduled programmes at the INT.
