An Eclipse Composite above the INT
Description: On the 20th-21st of January, a lunar eclipse occurred visible from La Palma. This coincided with a 'supermoon' event, making the moon appear larger than normal. The photo is a composite of ~5 hours of lunar motion, as the moon traveled through the earth's shadow, and out the other side. Credit: Thomas Davison.
