3.1.1 Header

The header section of a Folder page, a Meeting page etc. consists of:

[ABOUT][HELP]
 
offering links to the BSCW homepage [ABOUT] and to the online [HELP]. Currently, the help is available online as HTML files or as a pdf file that you may download and use locally. Additionally there is a manual that you may download and print.

empty in most cases; a banner (text and graphics) can be inserted -- individually for each Folder, if desired (see section 4.4.4).

the top button bar containing the buttons for creating new objects in the Folder, Meeting or Discussion.
The objects that are created by clicking these buttons are described in section 3.3.
 Home  : <Your user name> / Active Workspaces
specifies the location of the current object in your Folder hierarchy as the directory path from your home Folder.
The names are links to the respective Folder pages.

containing the name of the current object preceded by the information icon and an icon that represents the object type. The current object's name may be followed by an icon that acts as a link to a corresponding object. "Corrresponding" is used here in the sense of Workspace <--> Members page; Meeting <--> Participants page; Bag (clipboard) <--> home Folder etc. For instance, in a Workspace page, the link will take you to the Members page (see section 4.5.1) of this Workspace.
