4.5.1 Members page

The Members page of a Workspace provides a list of the users and the BSCW groups that are currently members of the Workspace (the BSCW group 'Members of <Workspace name>'). Its button bars offer the functionality you need for membership administration.

In addition, the entries let you access information on the individual members.

• Click the    icon next to the Workspace name

to display the Workspace's Members page.

The entries in the Members page list the invited members of the Workspace. This includes

• persons with pending membership -- listed as <email address>.

A membership is pending if a person was invited but has not yet registered as a user of the BSCW server. This person cannot use the shared Workspace until registration is completed.

A person whose membership is pending can be reminded to register:

• Click [Re-invite] on the [Action] bar below this member's entry

to send another invitation to the email address.

• persons who are registered users of the BSCW server -- listed by their user name and their
• email address or
• full name and organizational affiliation, if they have already completed the 'Edit details ...' form.
• BSCW groups -- listed as 'Members of <Workspace name>'.

Note:

Like any other BSCW object, a BSCW group has a history of Events. It includes the Events of adding or removing members. Thus you may refer to this history for information about former members. The history is listed in the Info page of the BSCW group's Members page.

• Click the    icon in the 'Members of <Workspace name>' line in the header of the Members page

to display the BSCW group's Info page.
