DETECTOR INFORMATION

This page contains information on Detectors currently available at the WHT and INT .

All Science detectors at ING now run with ULTRADAS + SDSU controllers.

N.B. During the next few months there will be a migration of detectors from SDSU Generation 2 to Generation 3 controllers. Along with increased maintainability this will produce an improvement in performance with some devices. Detector performance figures with Generation 2 controllers will continue to be available, the date of changeover to Generation 3 is also given.

For information only details of detectors no longer operational are also available. As are performance figures for detectors
when they were running with the Dutch controllers.
