5.1.3 Participants page

Just as a Workspace has its BSCW group of members, a Meeting object has its set of participants, represented by their entries in the Participants page of the Meeting.

Similar to the Members page of a Workspace, the Participants page lists the user names or email addresses that have been entered as participants of the Meeting. As a reminder that all members of the Workspace can access the Meeting object and its contents, BSCW has automatically added the BSCW group 'Members of <Name of the Workspace that contains the Meeting object>'.

Warning:
Do not  Remove  this BSCW group from the list of participants.

BSCW offers two ways to add participants to an existing Meeting:

The Participants page of a Meeting lets you use the same set of actions as a Members page of a Workspace:

Remove
removes selected participants from the list of people invited to the meeting
Email  or Send
brings up a form for sending emails, with the email addresses of the selected participants already filled in (see also section 4.5.4.1)
To AddrBook  (on the top button bar)
adds all current participants of the Meeting to your Address Book as the BSCW group ' Members of <Meeting name>'
To AddrBook  (on the button bar for selected objects)
adds the user names or email addresses of the selected participants as individual entries to your Address Book
Make Group
creates a new BSCW group that takes the place of the individual entries in the participants list and may be added to your Address Book (see section 4.5.3 for details)
Note:
When you create this new BSCW group, BSCW creates a new Workspace with the name of that group and adds it to the top level in your  Home  Folder. The Meeting object from whose list of participants you created the new BSCW group is copied into this new Workspace.
