4.8.3 Editing version information

It is only for the current version that version number, change description and version state may be changed -- for earlier versions this information cannot be edited any more.

To change some aspect of a Document's version information,

• click [Modify] on the [Action] bar of the Document's entry in a Folder page and

to bring up the 'Modify' form.

• click [Version Info] on the top button bar of the form

to go to the section Change version info for Document name of that form.

Or

• Click the    or the    icon left of the Document's MIME type icon

to display its Info page and

• click    on the top button bar of the Info page

to bring up the 'Change version info for Document name' form.

• Edit version number, version state and the description of changes as needed and
• click

  to put the modifications into effect.
