Startup and Shutdown of the PE3210 Instrument Computer

• Normal Startup: Type at the ADAM terminal:

  SI ABC, n, DEF

• Warm Restart (after a controlled shutdown):

  Power up the EGLE: disc (On with 3 lights)

  D D at System Console

  MA EGLE:,ON,,CD=ALL

  STARTUP to give END OF ENVIRONMENT CONFIGURATATION

  SI ABC, n, DEF at the ADAM terminal

• Cold Restart (after power failure)

  Mains supply ON.

  Power up the EGLE: disc (On with 3 lights).

  Press the INIT switch on the PE3210 consolette.

  Answer DSC2 and EGLE3210.LPO to prompts at system terminal.

  Await END OF ENVIRONMENT CONFIGURATION

  SI ABC, n, DEF at ADAM terminal

• Stopping the PE 3210:

  SIGNOFF at all terminals

  STOPALL at System Terminal

  OFF

  MA EGLE:,OFF
