Startup and Shutdown of the PE3220 Telescope Computer

• Normal Startup: Type at the Telescope Control System Console:

  D D

  If MSMD: is OFF, then type:

  MA MSMD:,ON,,CD=ALL

  When MSMD: is ON, then type:

  GO INT

• Shutdown: Type at the Telescope Control System Console:

  FINISH

  MA MSMD:,OFF

• Reboot after a power cut Press INIT on CPU consolette

  Boot the computer by answering:

  ENTRY=3

  FILE=MSMD3220.LPO

  and wait for the message: ``END OF ENVIRONMENT CONFIGURATION''

  To start the control system, type at the System Console:

  GO INT

  If there has been a power failure initialize the CAMAC crates associated with the PE3210 (see section ).
