ZEROSET

For full details see chapter .

1. Position the telescope at zenith.
2. Drive the telescope a few degrees away from zenith by pressing the positive direction buttons + on the handset, in both Right Ascention and Declination.
3. At the User Interface do:

   ZEROSET

   The two red encoder/zeroset lights on the Control should light up. If not, go back to step 2 and move the telescope a bit further from zenith (consult section ).

4. Set the speed controls on the Engineering Rack to the marked positions.
5. Drive the telescope back through the zenith by pressing the negative direction handset buttons - until the lights on the Control Desk go out and a message appears on the User Interface to the effect that the ZEROSET has completed.
