Gripper focus

This section describes why and how the focus off the fibre viewing system should be adjusted.

It is important to get a good focussed image on the tv screen. The focus can be adjusted by the lens that sits before the camera.

Take off the light cover (black tape). The microscope objective to be moved is in a brass lens barrel between the tv and the folding prism.  Move the lens until optimum focus is achieved. Put tape back on and check that you haven't disturbed the theta rotation alignment.
