Alignment and calibration

This section explaines all about different alignment techniques and calibrations, necessary  for a correct functioning of the gripper unit. Because off the complexity off the instrument its very important that all mechanisms are set up properly and checked at regular intervals.

Aligment after instrument changes:

• Focusing 

Alignment during standdown

• Centre tv  viewing system to centre theta-axis

• Theta-motion robot

• Z-motion robot

• gripper focus

• Offset mobile probe to gripper centre

• Offset Fixed sky viewing probe

• Setting up X-and Y zeroswitches
