6.2.8 User

BSCW manages Users with pending or completed registration. Only after a registration has been completed will a full-fledged User page be created that shows a few standard pieces of information by default. It is each user's responsibility to provide additional information (see section 2.4).

The information a user provides is available to any other user of the BSCW server, e. g. via a User search (see section 4.10.3). It is displayed in two pages with slightly overlapping contents:

• the personal Info page is displayed when you click the User name or the icons to its left:    and    or  ;
• the Contact user name page is displayed when you click    or [Contact].
