vCalendar is a transfer format for calendar information (supported by Netscape Calendar, amongst others). If your local calendar program can import the vCalendar format, BSCW offers a convenient way to download the information about BSCW Meetings in order to keep your local calendar up-to-date:

BSCW also supports the vCard export format -- see section 4.5.4.3.
