4.4.1 Creating a shared Workspace

You may turn any Folder, Meeting, or Discussion within your    Folder into a shared Workspace:

• Click    button in its top button bar;
• invite the first users of the BSCW server,

to grant them access rights to this Folder, Meeting, or Discussion, and to all of its contents (see section 4.5 for details).

Typically, you invite one or several registered users of the BSCW server, but you may also invite the user anonymous to allow public, anonymous access across the Internet. As a convenient shortcut,

• click the    button

to invite anonymous and to grant to anybody on the Web read access to all objects in the Workspace (for details see section 4.7.6).
