Note to the Systems Electronics Overview.
All the information you find in that section is information scanned in from the
original
documentation which came with the project in the first setup.
I have tried to find the best possible setup for the scanner to get the
pictures as goos as possible.
Most of the pictures are readeble but you might find it difficult.
I had to compromice between several setting and system resources availeble.
This is a product of lack of resoures.
If you need for what ever reason, the original documentation then don't
hesitate to get it out
of my office. But after use, please bring it back.
System and Products used for scanning.
- PowerStation 486Dx with 50 Mhz Bus speed.
- 16 Mbytes of main Memory. (Far to low for doing proper scanning)
- Hewlett Packard ScanJet 3c Scanner (From Mechanical Section)
- Linux 2.0.0 Operaring Systems.
- hpscanpbm for scanning and controlling HP ScanJet 3c
- xocr for optical word reconision ( Due to the lack of resources it would
not write the file) thats why all the text pages are in gif format as well.
- xview to convert *.pbm format images to bmp and gif and jpeg images.
