Section 1 : Shutting Down the AF2 Systems

Shutting Down the Control Room Systems

1.       Fill in the telescope log book to not move the telescope.
2.       Put the telecope into engineering mode.
3.       Turn off AF2 video monitor and mimic display in the control room.
4.       Turn off the Westinghouse TV system in the control room.
5.       Shut down the observing system.

1.       At the VT220 AF2 terminal in Ghril, checking that it has an eng prompt, type:
2.       eng> local
3.       eng> wake
4.       eng> sleep
5.       eng> quit
6.       eng> stopall
7.       eng> logout
