Failure before set-up

With AUTOFIB, the field may fail to set-up for a number of reasons. First, let's deal with failures before it starts to move the fibres:

• No power to AUTOFIB.
  • Type afwake to wake-up AUTOFIB.
• AUTOFIB micro not responding (or not on network).
  • Call Support Astronomer or Duty Tech
• The field is an illegal configuration.
  • Check it has successfully passed through the af2_configure routine on the mountain-top SPARC.
  • If it has, check that the HA in the .fld file (used by af2_configure to generate the .cfg file) is roughly consistent with the LST input at the afsetup command (which the AF2 micro uses). If not, either generate a new .cfg with the correct HA, or change the LST input.
