The meeting rooms and social areas are set in the main building, with

served basis. These have shared bathroom facilities. The room cost (for two
persons) is UKP 40.00 per room per night (also including full English

Food and Drink
Lunch is available in the Halifax Hall of residence dining room.
This is a three course buffet style meal. It is available at a cost of UKP
10 per day. It should be noted that the nearest alternative eating places
are some 10 minutes walk.
Dinner is not provided in Hall except for the
Conference Dinner on the night of Thursday 8 April 1999. It is
anticipated that delegates will take the opportunity to explore the
gastronomic delights of Sheffield for their evening meals. However, the
organisers hope that delegates will attend the conference dinner.
Drinks: a bar is available in Halifax Hall during the lunch and
evening (with a bar extension until midnight each night).
