UADSA The Main Program

UADSA was designed 7 years ago and the real first version was running under VMS on a VAX8300. Since then lots have been changed and also I had to move on. UADSA is now running under UNIX and is cut down from one big program into various sub-ordinates. Why this is done is out of the scope of this document. This document is ment to be an help page for those who need to use this program. The main command <uadsa> starts up the three sub-programs for you to work with the whole system at ones. The sub-ordinates may also be started up independently. in which case you only got one window just for that type of information you want. These sub-ordenates are uadsa_ed, uadsa_ov and uadsa_oy
If you start uadsa you get an window telling you which sub-ordinates are loaded and when finished to be used.

Before you start the program you have to put in an enviromental variable called UADSA. Just put the next statement line into your .login file (or what ever is the login file for you)

setenv UADSA /home/timereg/bin/images.

Also make sure that /home/timereg/bin is set into you path you can do that as follows

set path = ($path /home/timereg/bin )

After that create a directory called hours (or what ever you want to call it) and cd into that directory. Remenber that the files you are working with will be stored in the directory from which you start UADSA.
Before you really can start using the system, you first need to create the month files.
To do this you have to use the program so called uadsa_cm. Whereby cm stands for CreateMonth.
See the uadsa_cm page on how to use this command.
