TB1 series are the main drawings and have a 3 digit number to identify main assemblies or major sub-assemblies. Drawings of details within this system are identified by a further two digit number added to the sub-assembly number.
BBl and BB6 drawings apply to electronic boards and also have a 3 or 5 digit identification number. Drawings in the BB6 range are common to the L.P.O. 1 metre telescope.
There is also an ED series which are electrical design drawings
giving circuit diagrams of the major electrical and electronic systems.
