The utils.sch schematic

The gensub and multi-bit binary input records on this schematic monitor the XYCOM-240 input lines. Some of the NAOMI binary input records have SCAN type "event". The gensub on this schematic is used to generate EPICS events to process these records.

This is to avoid a deficiency in the EPICS XYCOM-240 device driver, whereby all SCAN "i/o intr" input records get processed in response to any of the input channels changing.
