Purpose of this document
This document is intended to provide information to members of the software
group, electronics group and detectors group on how the SLO Software
Test System is configured.
Hardware Configuration
The current configuration has 5 computers:-.
sloics Computer
This computer is virgo.ing-slo.iac.es on the third floor SLO. A SUN Ultra5
computer.
slodas Computer
This computer is fornax.ing-slo.iac.es on the third floor SLO. A SUN Ultra10
computer.
slodas1 Computer
This computer is tucana.ing-slo.iac.es on the third floor SLO. A SUN Ultra1
computer
slotcs Computer
This computer is lpas5.ing-slo.iac.es on the third floor SLO. A DIGITAL computer.
slodr Computer
This computer is sextans.ing-slo.iac.es on the third floor SLO. A SUN Ultra10
computer
Software Configuration
Operating System
The Operating system is Solaris and the current configuration is Solaris 2.7
(Solaris 7).
Observing System
The observing system is modeled on a released observing system, however the
released version is defined as 'latest' instead of S8.3 or s7-1 etc.
