There are currently no written guidelines for documentation formats for ING documentation. It is recommended that sample documents are requested from ING for use by development projects. Godd examples of existing documentation can be provided.
The documentation systems of choice for delivery to ING are
When software systems are delivered to ING, all documentation written as part of the development project should be delivered in electronic form as sources so that they can be maintained at ING.
Any infrastructure software used as part of the delivered system and not currently in use at ING must be delivered to ING with full installation and user documentation.
The recommended system for on-line documentation, e.g. on-line help information, is currently under review. However, it is likely that HTML will be the documentation system of choice.
