This process serve as communication relay between the different CA process (eq. to CORBA name
server ?).
Anyway, any CA client will probe for the presence of this process and start it if not
found. To avoid a situation where the process owner is "who-ever", I asked
CFG to add an entry in the rc.d of:
Clearly these should be the host of choice to start CA clients (eg. the engineering mimic)
I added a warning message for this purpose in the whtmimic account .login.
Process to log the ioclog message. Note it might be convenient in the future to format the ioclog message the same way as a syslog message (just replace the host / timestamp order) and set the ioclog port to syslog port (21). That way you can log messages directly in the talker (for example).
