Capfast General

Capfast provides 2 main graphical applications to create databases:

• Programs:

  xsched: create and edit database

  xsymed: create and edit database sub-components

  From R3.13, I tried converting all human readable database to ASCII.
  
  ISISP is intrasicaly a capfast design, so little chance to change anything here.
  
  INTEGRAL, to a lesser extent, was kept with it's capfast schematics, but pure ASCII might be appropriate.

• Printing symbols and schematics:

  I looked into the configuration options but it appear there is no way to setup the 'Print' and 'Print setup' menu adequately. Hence you'll have to work it out manually from the shell. I created lpsch, a script for this purpose (good for any hp laserjet printer)

  % setenv PSPRINTER hp-3a
  
  % lpsch somefile.sym
  
  Note capfast also provide plotter drivers, please consult the documentation.
