dark command

Function:

Dark clears the camera, waits for the stated time and reads out the camera, saving the data in a FITS file. The file is passed to the archiving and logging facilities. Multdark repeats this sequence a specified number of times.

If the camera is configured with a non-zero length of preflash, the preflash is applies to each dark frame.

A title may be given for the observation: the title appears as the datum of the OBJECT keyword in the FITS headers and as the target name in the observing log. If no title is given, then the run is titled "Dark frame".

Usage:

   dark [<camera>] <time> ["<title>"]

   multdark [<camera>] <n-obs> <time> ["<title>"]

where time is in seconds and n-obs is the number of runs in the sequence. The title-string must be enclosed in double quotes.
