Which SPARCs are available to visitors?

Vistors need to acquire an account before they can log on. If visitors are observers they can use these accounts during their observing run only.
intguest
jktguest
whtguest
If visiting observers require access for a few days either before or after their run then they should apply for a guest account. All other visitors who need access to the ING's computers should also request an account.

Sparcs for use by observers

Observers can tell which sparcs are intended for them because the login screen has the icon below (applies solaris 9 hosts only). If using the account for purposes other that running the observing system always use the Data Reduction (DR) sparc. These sparcs have hostnames which change as more modern sparcs replace older ones but three aliases are always correct.
