The pine .signature file

The pine .signature file contains the information that will appear at the end
of each e-mail message created by the user .

Each user can create her/his own pine .signature file, and this file can be 
stored and named according to user preferences. But if the file is stored in a
directory different from the home directory, or its name is different from
.signature, this information must be specified in pine configuration.    
            
How can I create my own pine .signature file ?

           Using any unix editor, the user can create in her/his home directory
a file called .signature. The user can find out the name of her/his home
directory, typing 
         echo $HOME

As a reference,  a template  has been created. It 
can be copied and changed by the user.
