CCD CONTROL COMMANDS

These commands are described beginning with the higher level ones and ending with the lower level ones that are useful in procedures. Note that several commands can be put on one line by using the semi-colon as a separator thus:

Adam:> CLEAR; EXPO 5; KEEP etc

• GLA(NCE) - A trial exposure
• RU(N) - The primary exposure command
• PA(USE)/CONT(INUE)/STO(P)/ABO(RT) - Run control (1)
• RUNSTAT(US)/TIM(E) - Run control (2)
• TEL(E) - System telemetry
• CCDINIT/RESET(CCD) - Complete and partial re-initialisation
• OP(EN)/CLO(SE) - Shutter control
• BIN - On-chip binning
• WIN(DOW) - Set a new readout window
• CLE(AR)/NOCLE(AR)/EXPO(SE)/REA(D) - Home-made runs
• QFL(ASH)/SETFLA(SH)/FL(ASH) - Pre-flash control
• MULTEXP - Perform a multiple exposure
• FOCUS - Perform an automatic focus run
