ING Hale Bopp Home Page

A multi-national campaign took place at the Observatorio del Roque de Los Muchachos to study the comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) during the period April-May 1997. As part of these observations images were obtained using all three of the ING's telescopes, namely the 4.2m-William Herschel Telescope (WHT), the 2.5m-Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) and the 1.0m-Jacobus Kapteyn Telescope (JKT), and CoCAM, the wide field imaging facility of ING. This page was updated on a regular basis to provide news and pictures of the comet.
