Under Computer Control

1. Enter the desired position angle on the user interface:

   TU(RNTABLE) position-angle

   where the angle is in degrees.

2. Press the TURNTABLE NOM button on the Control Desk.

   The turntable will move in the correct direction to avoid the limit switch at Position Angle 140.

3. If the table stops an arcminute or two away from the correct position, press the NOM button again.

If you end up in a turntable limit (this should never occur when operating in this way), then you will have to escape from it in manual mode (see the section immediately below).
