Via the User Interface

Set the telescope focus to a known value as follows.

1. Type at the User Interface:

   FOCUS value

   where the focus value is in mm (as on the Information Display; note that the units on the engineering display are 0.01 mm).

2. Press the FOCUS NOM button on the Control Desk. The focus will then drive to the value defined before, and the red focus stop light will come on when it is in position.
