Echellogram parameters

The set of interference orders observable with UES is summarised in Tab. 15 for the 31.6 lines/mm echelle and in Tab. 16 for the 79.0 lines/mm echelle. For each order number, the tables give the follwing parameters:

The echellograms for the 31.6 g/mm and 79.0 g/mm echelles are shown schematically in Fig. 6. Further, in Chap. x a description of the planning software, ECHWIND is given. Briefly this software models UES and provides the user with information as to the detector coverage of the echellogram, with any detector at any specfied central wavelength.
