Command reference section

This section contains a detailed description of the commands available for controlling UES and its A&G unit from ICL. The order of the commands roughly follows the light-path from the telescope to detector.

Notation:

Examples of commands entered at the terminal are in typewriter font: USLITWIDTH 50;
Angle brackets denote parameter values or character strings: <angle>;
Square brackets denote optional input: [x,y]; all other parameters are obligatory;
The command names are also referred to as `mechanism names', e.g. the UES_INIT command.
