Checklist

• Check that the detector is correctly installed, cooled and functions electrically
• Install the test masks and initial programme masks in LDSS-2
• Check that the required filters and Hartmann masks are installed
• Check that the required grisms are installed
• Check focus, tilt and rotation by Hartmann tests
• Take distortion exposures of the matrix mask through each filter
• Do the positional calibration of masks
• Take dispersed flatfields through each mask for each grism
