Closing and restarting the TCS

To stop the TCS type

         USER> park zen

and switch to engineering mode. Cancel the TCS alarm

         USER> acknowledge

and

         USER> tcsexit

to stop the TCS.

If the TCS User Interface hangs:

switch to engineering mode,

$\circ$

start another TELNET session to lpas1,

$\circ$

login as user JKT_LOGIN,

$\circ$

and choose the STOP option.

If the telescope was not at zenith when stopping the TCS, move it back to (near) zenith with the console buttons. Then restart as above, if you wish. Don't forget to ZEROSET and CALIBRATE.
