This guide aims to provide most of the available information to allow a user to operate the CCD camera on the JKT. The camera head has been operational since September 1985 and the full facilities of the new A and G unit have been available since November 1987.
Section 1 gives guidelines for using the CCD as a direct imaging instrument.
Section 2 gives details of the commands available for control and associated operations of the CCD camera.
Section 3 gives specific information on the usage of the A and G unit; the facilities and operational commands are described.

The parameters of each individual chip i.e. readout noise, cosmetic defects, etc are kept in folders which are located in the control room.
