SETFOC(US) - Compensate telescope focus for filter change

Once the telescope has been focused through one filter, this command may be used to enable automatic compensation for the differing optical thicknesses of the filters, provided that these have been set up using the WHEEL command or by editing the wheel parameter file.

Parameter

best focus position for the current filter, in mm.

Example

Suppose a focus run results in a best focus of 47.2 mm for the R filter. Ensure that the R filter is selected and type:

Adam:> SETFOCUS 47.2

This will set the telescope focus to the right value and enable automatic compensation when the filter is changed.
