IMAGPLOT - Plot an image on the Line Printer

An A-task to print two-dimensional image files containing visual data on the Line Printer. Only files containing integer2 data can be printed. One dot is printed for every pixel found above a BOUNDARY value specified by the user.

Parameters

Any of these may be specified on the command line. They may be specified positionally in the order in which they are listed below, or in the form NAME = VALUE in any order.

DATAF(ILE) DATAM(EAN) O(UTFILE) T(ITLE)

The first three parameters are prompted for.

Example

Adam:> IMAGPLOT TI = HORSE

Enter the file to be plotted :> HORSE.DAT

Enter the boundary pixel value (134.26) :> < c/r >

Notes

The date in the plot title is that of printing, not observing.

The second prompt takes several seconds to appear as the BOUNDARY default has to be calculated.

A typical run takes about 12 seconds.
