Blank Areas of Sky for Flat Fields

The following positions have a paucity of bright stars. They are useful for flat fields, especially if the sky is dark. They all contain some stars, but, if you take several exposures with an offset between them, the stars get fainter when you average them all.

These positions are available on the telescope computer in a file called BLANK.CAT.
