There are two ways to apply for observing time with INGRID/NAOMI:
Applying to one of the time-allocation committees for one or more
scheduled nights (see here
for more details). In order to take advantage of optimal seeing
conditions, the observations are usually performed in service mode by
staff astronomers.
Applying for service observations through the ING service
programme, using the NAOMI/INGRID
application form. This observing mode is for astronomers
who require short
observations
of up to eight hours. These observations will always be performed by
staff
astronomers. Applicants should first read the ING service programme pages.
