SITe2048 SDSU Wiring

The SITe chips have four outputs, but they are not all guaranteed to work. We only ever use one .

SITe1 has outputs C and D working, C preferred , SITe2 has outputs A and B working, A preferred

The internal cabling and board configuration of the SDSU controller is the same for all the TEK1024 and SITe2048 cameras:

What differs is the external cable connecting the camera cryostat to the controller. There are two types of external cables ; one for cameras using chip output amplifiers A and B, and another for cameras using C and D. Accidental interchange of these two cable types will do no damage but will mean that the controller is receiving video waveforms from possibly inactive outputs.

The following table gives information on the external cabling as well as the cabling internal to the cryostat.
